Welcome!
My name is Tracy Gossage and I am a fresh MLIS graduate from Dominican University. I developed an interest in working in libraries when I was in high school. What started as simply volunteering as a media aide after school led to me obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
My goal is to become a Young Adult and/or Adult Services Librarian in a public library. I will bring a strong customer service background fortified with Web 2.0 technologies towards a position where I can make a career out of my passion for helping people better themselves via library tools.
Click here to take a look at my e-portfolio, housing numerous artifacts of my work as an MLIS student and a reflective essay on my experience in the program.
This site has a host of materials that define my personal brand and career goals. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at theaspiringlibrarian@gmail.com.
